We are Douwe and Jantiene Broersma, proud owners of Wijngaard de Frysling. The love for our land and the desire to make a beautiful product led to our vineyard on Frisian soil. You can find us on the 53rd parallel, near the Wadden Sea and in the shelter of the beautiful Frisian Forest landscape. Just outside the village of Twijzel, in the shelter of tree walls and alder canals. The unique location and fertile sandy soils, surrounded by ancient pingos, give the grapes of new varieties their own flavor. A sumptuous vineyard has been created here since 2009 and has now grown into a real family business.
