Northern lights over the Wadden Sea: An unforgettable experience

Last weekend, I was lucky to see this phenomenon with my own eyes.
admire. The weather conditions were perfect: a clear night, little moonlight
and sufficient solar activity.
I had lined up on a deserted dike in the north of Groningen, with my camera in
the hand and my tripod firmly on the ground. The tension was easing as I waited until
the spectacle would begin.
And then, suddenly, it appeared: a narrow strip of light on the horizon, slowly but surely
certainly moving and changing color. Green, purple, red... it was breathtaking
beautiful.
I spent hours shooting, fascinated by this beautiful natural phenomenon. It
was an experience I'll never forget.
Tips for shooting the northern lights:
- Move to a dark location: The further away from light pollution, the better off you are
